Internationally-accredited maritime training
Your best guarantee for well-operated vessels: the Ahlers training courses for maritime crew members.
Here at Ahlers we carry out a wide range of training courses for maritime crew members. With our subsidiary Bureau International Maritime (BIM) we teach the modern skills, techniques and knowledge they need to thrive, on sea or land.
Our internationally-accredited certification covers seafarers, port operators, inland navigation specialists and relevant offshore personnel. Here’s why Ahlers is the ideal choice to train your crew:
We put our maritime history to work
Ahlers has over 100 years of experience in owning and operating ships, delivering complex maritime logistics projects and educating the next generation of on- and off-shore personnel. We have operated across many industries including oil and gas, consumer goods, chemicals and oversized machinery transshipment.
Our specialist staff deliver maritime services on challenging projects in these areas day in, day out. They apply all their expertise to the training programs we create and deliver, whilst staying on top of trends and issues in today's industry.
We offer the full training spectrum
Over 6000 maritime personnel are trained by Ahlers and BIM every year. We operate training centers in four different countries and often carry out on-demand training for clients at their own facilities.
Tuition programs are available at all levels, from the most basic seafarers to specialized crewmembers. Our maritime training courses cover on-board safety and security, specialist operations and responsibilities, coordination and support roles.
Our services include guidance on STCW requirements and the follow-up of trainees throughout their careers to ensure that successful certification is achieved by obtaining internationally recognized CoP (Certificate of Proficiency) and CoC (Certificate of Competence).
